Jacobs alumnus Abrey Allicock is featured in this month’s Opera News

SoundBitesAllicock-220Jacobs alumnus Abrey Allicock is featured in this month’s Opera News and is interviewed by Paul Driscoll about performing the role of Young Emile in the world premiere of Champion in St. Louis.

Allicock received his Masters of Music degree from the IU Jacobs School of Music and holds a Bachelor of Music from Grand  Canyon University. While at the Jacobs School, he  performed the roles of the Unnamed Bass in Too Many Sopranos, Marulloin Rigoletto, Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Chelio in The Love for Three Oranges and Mustafa in L’italiana in Algeri.

While attending Indiana University, Allicock studied and coached with renowned teachers who include Robert White, Andreas Poulimenos, and Carol Vaness.
