Tenor Jermaine Jackson is finalist in Cincinnati Opera’s 2011 “Opera Idol” competition

Jermaine Jackson, tenor and recent Jacobs School of Music graduate, was a finalist in Cincinnati Opera’s competition, OPERA IDOL–2011. This fall he will begin degree studies in music theory at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, where he will serve as a graduate teaching assistant. In addition to being a singer, Mr. Jackson, a former voice student of Robert Harrison, plays clarinet and holds certification in Dalcroze Eurhythmics.
