2016 Indiana University Annual Synposium of Research in Music

The Indiana University Graduate Theory Association is pleased to announce its 2016 Symposium of Research in Music. The Symposium will take place Friday and Saturday, February 19 and 20, in Ford-Crawford Recital Hall on the Bloomington campus of Indiana University. We are excited to welcome Professor William Rothstein (The Graduate Center, CUNY) as our keynote speaker. Professor Rothstein’s presentation for the symposium is entitled, “Theory precedes practice: Vogler, Meyerbeer, and the chromatic scale.”
