Eric Isaacson, Professor of Music Theory and Director of Graduate Studies for the Jacobs School of Music, received the 2014 Access Award for his work on behalf of students with disabilities. This honor is given for exemplary contributions to the promotion of full and equal access at Indiana University. It is through education that personal horizons are broadened beyond the home and neighborhood to include the world. For students with disabilities, the door to education and, ultimately, the world, opens with a key called access. Isaacson received the award at the 2014 Access the World Through Education Awards Reception on April 21st. Congratulations!
