As the Larchmere String Quartet, violinist Tim Kantor and violist Rose Wollman–both DM students in the Jacobs School–violinist Sun-Hye Oh, and cellist Schuyler Slack, will begin positions as artists-in-residence at the University of Evansville and principal strings with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.
The quartet, with violinist and IU alumnus Madalyn Parnas (instead of Sun-Hye), returned from the Banff Centre Chamber Music Residency at the end of June and are currently concertizing throughout New England.
