Charles Webb was named Dean of the Jacobs School in 1973
and held the position with an unequaled degree of passion
and dedication for the next 24 years. During his tenure,
the school was named number one in quality
in three independent national surveys.

Charles Webb lives in Bloomington, pursuing an active
professional career as a pianist, organist, and writer.
He also continues to act as a valuable advisor to
the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, the
most comprehensive and acclaimed institution
for the study of music and ballet.
