Choral conducting faculty member Dominick DiOrio will travel to Texas for a number of special opportunities.
From Feb 11-13, he will be a composer and conductor-in-residence at the Texas State University-San Marcos School of Music. He will be guest clinician for a number of sessions on his own music with choral ensembles at TSU.
From Feb 13-16th, he will be a featured composer at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) convention in San Antonio. His new work “Alleluia” for chorus and marimba will be premiered by the Texas Two-Year College All-State Choir under the direction of Joey M. Martin and featuring percussionist Kari Klier. “Alleluia” is also being published by G. Schirmer for release this Spring.
