Alumnus conductor Gary Wedow conducts the NY Phil in “Messiah” and thrills audiences

A recent performance of Handel’s “Messiah” by the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Jacobs School alumnus Gary Wedow, was warmly reviewed by Vivien Schweitzer in the NY Times.

“Gary Thor Wedow, making his debut with the Philharmonic on Tuesday evening at Avery Fisher Hall, brought substantial experience leading historically informed performances to this excellent ‘Messiah’,” wrote Schewitzer.
